Inlays sind keramische Einzelstücke, die sich exakt an den zu füllenden Hohlraum im Zahn anpassen. Sie werden modelliert, gepresst und glasiert und fügen sich in Farbe und Form optimal ein. Der verwendete Werkstoff ist äusserst stabil und wird individuell an die Zahnfarbe angeglichen.

Schliesslich wird die Keramikfüllung mit einer geringen Menge Befestigungsmaterial fixiert. Das ist ein wichtiger Punkt, denn je genauer die Keramikfüllung passt, desto besser ist die Stabilität des Zahnes gewährleistet.
